Selling Your Art

Answers
How should I sell art on ArtistLane.com?
ArtistLane.com helps bring buyers and sellers together. At that point, it is between the buyer and seller to determine the final price, shipping and any other terms of sale. You may want to consider using our Sample PDF Art Bill of Sale or creating one of your own.

What do I do for shipping charges?
ArtistLane suggests that you take some of your pieces (or at least know their weight) down to your local post office. Have them tell you how much shipping will be to different parts of the country for different size. That way you won't be unprepared when someone wants to purchase your art.

What if there is a problem with the buyer?
If you have a problem with the buyer, you may contact your local authorities with the details. When selling your art, you have entered into a contract to sell nd that is binding on the buyer.

Should I negotiate my prices?
Pricing is a purely subjective thing. We suggest that you have a firm price for your art. You don't want to charge too much and not sell, but make sure you are creatring a market for your pieces by not giving them away or offering too many bargains.
