Art Sales Receipt
|
Once you have received payment and are going to send your artwork to the buyer or gallery, make sure you include an Art Sales Receipt. The sales receipt shows the buyer how much they paid and how much may be owing on the account. Also, be sure to keep on for yourself for your own records.
This may also be a good time to mention that you should always keep all invoices, receipts and correspondence in an art file for future reference. You never know when you are going to need to either prove your business income or justify business expenses.
Please note: ArtistLane.com does not accept any responsibility for damages resulting from the use of the Bill of Sale for Art or the Art Sales Receipt. These forms are samples only and should be read by a qualified person before use.
